Basketball Recap: Cochranton Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Cochranton had won three straight road games and Marley Rodax did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Cochranton Cardinals took down the Jamestown Muskies 42-26 thanks in part to Rodax, who posted ten points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Cochranton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Jamestown, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cochranton Cardinals duke it out with the Saegertown Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Jamestown, they will face off against Maplewood at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Maplewood will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Jamestown surely won't give up without a fight.
