Basketball Recap: Los Altos Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Los Altos unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to the Los Gatos Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-35 back in January.

Los Altos' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ella McFarlane, who posted 14 points in addition to five boards and four steals, and Chloe DAmico, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. DAmico continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Taylor Ware was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Los Altos' defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Los Gatos, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.
