It was a good run, but Grand Terrace unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They received a blow as they fell 43-25 to the Fontana Steelers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Titans came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Steelers are ranked 425th).

Jayleen Barajas was Grand Terrace's leading scorer, having posted 13 points. Joy Amajoyi held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.

Grand Terrace's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Fontana, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Terrace will venture away from home to square off against Colton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fontana, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cajon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
