Volleyball Recap: Willows Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Willows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Pierce Bears. If the Honkers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bears when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Willows was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pierce's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-23.

Willows' loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Pierce, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Willows has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Eureka on the 13th. As for Pierce, they will head out on the road to square off against Gridley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
