In Thursday's league match, the Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA) volleyball squad knocked off the host Willows Honkers (Willows, CA), by a margin of 3-0.

The Bears now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gridley for a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. Pierce will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to University Prep (Redding, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-5.
