Preview: Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils vs. York Suburban Trojans
After three games on the road, Greencastle-Antrim is heading back home. They will take on the York Suburban Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, it was close, but Greencastle-Antrim sidestepped Waynesboro for a 52-50 win.
Meanwhile, York Suburban came tearing into Saturday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Susquehannock by a score of 35-26. Despite the win, that was the fewest points York Suburban has scored all year.
Greencastle-Antrim pushed their record up to 9-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for York Suburban, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1.
