Basketball Recap: Villa Park Piles Up the Points Against La Habra

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Villa Park's strategy against La Habra on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Villa Park Spartans blew the La Habra Highlanders out of the water with a 65-15 final score. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Villa Park was led to victory by Olivia Sturdivant and Madelyn Martinez. Sturdivant went 7 of 10 on her way to 15 points, while Martinez made all 5 shots she took to post 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sabina Patel, who posted four points along with seven assists and four steals.
