After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norfolk, Fremont was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Lincoln High Links. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Megan Thomson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up 12 Ks.
