Basketball Game Preview: Williamsport Millionaires vs. State College Little Lions

The Williamsport Millionaires will venture away from home to face off against the State College Little Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Williamsport needed a bit of extra time to put away Danville. They came out on top against the Ironmen by a score of 55-45. The Millionaires didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, State College had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five last Wednesday. They walked away with a 53-44 win over the Rams.

State College's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Williamsport, their record is now 8-14.

Williamsport was dealt a bruising 79-41 defeat at the hands of State College in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Williamsport avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
