Softball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Perry can now relate to. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boone Toreadors on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bluejays in their meetings with the Toreadors: they've now lost five in a row.

Christina Kanealy spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13-1. As for Boone, they pushed their record up to 20-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Perry nor the Toreadors have any future games scheduled.
