Natomas hadn't done well against Destiny Christian Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Natomas Nighthawks strolled past the Destiny Christian Academy Lions with points to spare, taking the game 38-20. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-27 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Natomas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ana Elkins, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Mikilah Mitchell, who scored ten points.

Despite the loss, Destiny Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Caitlin McDaniel, who put up four points along with ten rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave McDaniel a new career-high in steals.

Natomas' win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Destiny Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
