Volleyball Recap: Richardson Beats Nimitz for Their Fourth Straight Win + How To Watch

Richardson entered their tilt with Nimitz on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Richardson not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Nimitz between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-15.

Mackenzie Ratcliff paced Richardson's offense, picking up 14 kills. Ratcliff got some help from Mariajose Cordero and her 16 assists. Cordero was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Richardson's victory bumped their record up to 21-14. As for Nimitz, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Richardson will face off against rival Lake Highlands at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nimitz is set to square off against their familiar foe Irving at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
