Softball Recap: MOC-Floyd Valley Continues Road Dominance on Monday

After losing to Sioux Center the last time they met, MOC-Floyd Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dutchmen came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 6-2 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dutchmen.

MOC-Floyd Valley pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Sioux Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

MOC-Floyd Valley has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Western Christian on the 24th. As for Sioux Center, they will take on Central Lyon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
