Baseball Recap: Swan Valley Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Swan Valley's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Standish-Sterling Panthers on Saturday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Swan Valley's loss dropped their record down to 27-4. As for Standish-Sterling, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3-1 record this season.

Swan Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Standish-Sterling, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Petoskey on the 23rd.
