Chaparral is 8-2 against Temecula Valley since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Chaparral Pumas will square off against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m. Chaparral will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Chaparral will head into Friday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt Murrieta Mesa on Friday. Chaparral put the hurt on Murrieta Mesa with a sharp 59-35 victory. The Pumas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Temecula Valley hadn't done well against Vista Murrieta recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Temecula Valley came out on top against Vista Murrieta by a score of 51-44.

Chaparral has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Temecula Valley, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-9.
