Soccer Recap: Cottonwood Classical Prep Takes a Loss

Cottonwood Classical Prep managed to keep up with Sandia Prep until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Coyotes came up short against the Sundevils, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Sandia Prep this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 on October 2nd.

Cottonwood Classical Prep has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9-1 record this season. As for Sandia Prep, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cottonwood Classical Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Rehoboth Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sandia Prep will take on rival Bosque at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
