Baseball Recap: Pleasant Hill Billies vs. Dayton Pirates

Pleasant Hill proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Dayton Pirates. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Billies have posted since April 10th.

The team relied heavily on Cota Aanrud, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Perkins, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
