Baseball Preview: Norcross Blue Devils vs. Fellowship Christian Paladins
The Norcross Blue Devils are taking a road trip to square off against the Fellowship Christian Paladins at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Norcross is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs last Thursday, they were much more limited against Lovett on Friday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 10-2.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fellowship Christian). At the plate, Fellowship Christian got a massive performance out of Mack Town, who scored three runs and stole five bases. Those three runs gave Town a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Coe Puckett, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
Norcross has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Fellowship Christian, their record now sits at 15-6.
