Soccer Game Preview: Pacifica Christian vs. Western Christian

Western Christian is facing Pacifica Christian at the wrong time: Pacifica Christian suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Tritons couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Western Christian hasn't lost a match since December 10, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They never let Samueli Academy onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Considering the Fighting Lancers have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Western Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those ten matches. As for Pacifica Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7-2.
