Baseball Recap: Bainbridge Takes a Loss

Bainbridge lost against Peach County last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bainbridge came up short against Peach County, falling 9-2. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by exactly seven runs.

Bainbridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Benji Dollar, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bainbridge's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Peach County, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Looking ahead, Bainbridge will take on Westover at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bainbridge is facing Westover at the right time seeing as Westover is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Peach County, they will challenge Baldwin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Baldwin has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.87 runs per game on average), something Peach County will no doubt try to take advantage of.
