Valders entered their tilt with Kohler on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Blue Bombers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since April 30th.

Valders' win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Schuster, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. The Vikings are 3-1 when Schuster posts two or more runs, but 4-9 otherwise.
