Softball Game Preview: Shaw Raiders vs. LaGrange Grangers + Official Tickets

Shaw hasn't had much luck against LaGrange recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Grangers at 4:00 p.m. Shaw is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Shaw came up short against Columbus on Tuesday, falling 13-6.

Meanwhile, LaGrange posted their closest win since August 26th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Callaway 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Grangers in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won nine in a row.

Shaw's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 14-11. As for LaGrange, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Shaw couldn't quite get it done against LaGrange when the teams last played back in October of 2023 as they fell 11-6. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
