Soccer Recap: Cartersville Comes Up Short

Cartersville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the North Paulding Wolfpack. While losing is never fun, Cartersville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 285th, while North Paulding are ranked 124th).

Cartersville's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Paulding, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Cartersville nor North Paulding have any future games scheduled.
