Carver High School of Engineering & Science triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Savannah Hall

Carver High School of Engineering & Science gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They skirted past Bodine 46-43. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Carver High School of Engineering & Science also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Among those leading the charge was Savannah Hall, who scored 30 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikaela Briggs, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Bodine, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver High School of Engineering & Science will challenge Sun Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bodine, they will head out on the road to face off against Girard College at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
