Softball Recap: Bethany Has No Trouble Against Putnam City

Bethany never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Putnam City Pirates 12-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bronchos' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Madison Bibbs was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Jules Barger was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Bethany's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Putnam City, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Bethany will venture away from home to challenge Casady at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Putnam City, they will take on Carney at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
