Softball Recap: East Carter Takes a Loss

East Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dadeville Bearcats. The Redbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Ryelynn Bowman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

East Carter's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Dadeville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

East Carter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dadeville, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Norwood on the 10th.
