Villa Rica is a perfect 10-0 against Hiram since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will head out to square off against the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Villa Rica's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Villa Rica came up short against North Paulding on Tuesday, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, Hiram had just enough and edged out Temple 3-2 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Hiram.

Hiram now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Villa Rica, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Villa Rica came out on top in a nail-biter against Hiram in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
