Soccer Recap: Lompoc Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lompoc can now relate to. They lost 6-0 to the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Braves haven't been shut out since back in January.

Lompoc's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Central Valley Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Lompoc does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Valley Christian, they will head out to challenge Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Santa Maria's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Central Valley Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
