Covington won the last time they faced Troy Christian, and Ramse Vanderhorst did her part to make sure it happened again. The Buccs put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday for which the team can thank Vanderhorst, who had 18 digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Covington now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Troy Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Covington will take on Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as the Buccs come in on three and the Bees on four. As for Troy Christian, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Bradford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
