Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-1 to North Fayette Valley. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Fayette Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Wednesday.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for North Fayette Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-10.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-2 defeat against Starmont on the 20th. As for North Fayette Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-3 loss against Maquoketa on the 20th.
