Soccer Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short on the Road Against Putnam County

Northeast kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Putnam County War Eagles, falling 10-0.

The win made it two in a row for Putnam County and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Northeast will face off against Bleckley County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Putnam County, they will square off against Jasper County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jasper County's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Putnam County's offense will have their work cut out for them.
