Basketball Recap: Boiling Springs Skates Past James Buchanan with Ease

Boiling Springs waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the James Buchanan Rockets 63-36. The Bubblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 25 points or more this season.

Boiling Springs was led to victory by Molly Kimmel and Madyson Brownawell. Kimmel dropped a double-double on 22 points and 19 rebounds, while Brownawell almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine steals. Brownawell has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 21 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Madalynn Weidner, who posted ten points.

Boiling Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Boiling Springs' victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for James Buchanan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
