Basketball Game Preview: Rosemont Wolverines vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks

Rosemont hasn't had much luck against Liberty Ranch recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rosemont Wolverines will head out on the road to take on the Liberty Ranch Hawks at 7:00 p.m.

Rosemont is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Union Mine, falling 52-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolverines have suffered since December 30, 2024.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch had already won 18 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.4 points) and they went ahead and made it 19 on Tuesday. They blew past the Cougars 61-24. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Liberty Ranch's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for Rosemont, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
