After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wilbraham & Monson Academy, Pomfret School was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Forman Lions 48-26. The Griffins' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pomfret School's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Forman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pomfret School is set to take on their familiar foe Frederick Gunn at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Griffins' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Forman will square off against rival Hebron Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
