Softball Recap: Alameda Takes a Loss

Alameda lost against Golden back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Demons, falling 20-2. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alameda's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Golden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Alameda will head out to take on Mitchell at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Golden, they will head out on the road to face off against Pomona at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13 runs per game on average), something the Demons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
