Flag Football Game Preview: Apex Cougars vs. Green Hope Falcons

The Apex Cougars will head out on the road to challenge the Green Hope Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Apex's defense has only allowed 6.2 points per game this season, so Green Hope's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Apex's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They strolled past Varsity Opponent with points to spare, taking the game 18-0.

Meanwhile, Green Hope faced Apex Friendship in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Falcons lost 31-6 to the Patriots. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The defeat snapped Green Hope's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. As for Apex, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Apex came up short against Green Hope in their previous matchup last Wednesday, falling 13-8. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
