Soccer Recap: Valwood Comes Up Short

The Valwood Valiants lost 7-2 to the Thomasville Bulldogs on Wednesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Valiants were already down 4-1.

Valwood now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Thomasville, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Valwood will welcome Frederica Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Valwood is facing Frederica Academy at the right time seeing as Frederica Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Thomasville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Brookwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomasville knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Brookwood likes a good challenge.
