Basketball Recap: Susquehanna Township HANNA vs. Middletown Blue Raiders
The Susquehanna Township HANNA waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They walked away with a 43-31 victory over Middletown. Given Susquehanna Township's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Susquehanna Township to victory were Schuyler Coles and Ava London. Coles scored 20 points along with five rebounds, while London scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. London has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last six times she's played.
Susquehanna Township pushed their record up to 18-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Middletown, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Susquehanna Township won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
