Baseball Recap: Hampshire Comes Up Short

Hampshire was the 7-5 winner over Robert C. Byrd when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Brayden Hott made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Hampshire's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Robert C. Byrd, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.
