Softball Recap: Wister Find Success

Wister proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Stuart Hornets 2-0. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered an 8-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Wister's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Stuart, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wister will host Warner at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stuart, they will take on Vanoss at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
