Baseball Game Preview: Calvary Day Cavaliers vs. Islands Sharks

For the second straight game, Calvary Day will face off against Islands. The Cavaliers will welcome the Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Day is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Calvary Day is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Islands 18-3 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now won three in a row.

Max Arnold was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Sam Renshaw was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Arnold wasn't the only one making solid contact: Calvary Day kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The Cavaliers are a perfect 11-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Islands dropped their record down to 9-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Calvary Day, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.
