Football Recap: North Branch Takes a Loss

North Branch had taken Grand Rapids down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Vikings took a blow against the Thunderhawks, falling 40-8. The matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Branch fell to 5-1. As for Grand Rapids, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, North Branch will head out to take on Denfeld at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Rapids, they will host Proctor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
