Softball Recap: White County Comes Up Short

White County lost against Lumpkin County back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Indians by a score of 6-5. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

White County's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lumpkin County, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Looking ahead, White County will face off against Greater Atlanta Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.37 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lumpkin County, they will head out to square off against Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
