Softball Recap: Rome Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rome's offense. They lost 18-0 to the East Paulding Raiders on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Rome has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for East Paulding, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rome is set to face off against their familiar foe Kennesaw Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Paulding will challenge rival South Paulding at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
