Soccer Game Preview: Organ Mountain vs. Las Cruces

The Organ Mountain Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Las Cruces Bulldawgs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Organ Mountain is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Organ Mountain is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Alamogordo on Thursday as they made off with an 11-3 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-2.

Organ Mountain's offense was hitting Alamogordo from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Christopher Crespin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Las Cruces didn't have quite enough to beat Gadsden on Thursday and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Las Cruces have lost by just one goal.

Organ Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Las Cruces, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7-1.
