Skyline hadn't done well against Oakland recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Skyline Titans came out on top against the Oakland Wildcats by a score of 40-31. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Skyline is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Oakland, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Skyline will take on Granada at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakland, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Oakland Wildcats challenge the Fremont Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oakland is facing Fremont at the right time seeing as Fremont is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
