Softball Recap: Hannibal Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hannibal's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Fulton Hornets on Thursday. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Hannibal saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stevie Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Wilson has hit this season.

Hannibal's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Fulton, they moved to 3-10 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Hannibal will host Kirksville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fulton, they will head out on the road to challenge Moberly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
