Softball Recap: Carrollton's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Carrollton finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of the Penney Hornets by a score of 2-1. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Carrollton fell to 8-1. As for Penney, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Carrollton has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 win against Polo on the 13th. As for Penney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trenton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
