Softball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Wheeler's offense. They lost 19-0 to the North Cobb Warriors on Thursday. The defeat leaves the Wildcats still looking for their first win of the season.

Wheeler's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for North Cobb, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheeler will venture away from home to face off against Adairsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Cobb, they are taking a road trip to square off against Walton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
