Basketball Recap: Laguna Beach Takes a Loss

Laguna Beach lost against San Clemente back in December of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Breakers took a blow against the Tritons, falling 72-18. The loss put an end to the Breakers' undefeated start to the season.

When it comes to explaining why Laguna Beach lost, don't look at Hayden Crane-Henning. Despite the final result, she posted six points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Laguna Beach fell to 2-1. As for San Clemente, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Laguna Beach will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mayfair at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. As for San Clemente, they will be playing at home against Chaminade at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
